Steven Gordon L.Ac., Dipl. Ac., Dip. CH, is the founder and owner of the Flatiron Acupuncture & Herbal Health Center. Steven is a New York State Licensed Acupuncturist and is Nationally Board Certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
Steven specializes in Women’s Health, Orthopedic & Sports Acupuncture and Integrative Cancer Care. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology from City College of New York and his Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine from the Tai Hsuan College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in Hawaii (1995). Steven holds a post-graduate certification in TCM Gynecology from the Blue Poppy Institute and was trained in Acupuncture for the Cancer Patient at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Hospital in New York City.
Steven was a member of the National Sports Acupuncture Association for over 10 years and continues to specialize in Acupuncture Sports Medicine utilizing the methods of Master Tung, the 20th Century’s greatest acupuncturist. Steven has studied with Master Acupuncturists and practices advanced techniques such as Dr. Tan’s Advanced Balance Method, I Ching Acupuncture and Classical Chinese Acupuncture as taught to him by Chang Y Hsien, Daoist Master at the Tai Hsuan Monastery in Honolulu, Hawaii. Steven is also an acknowledged expert in Master Tung Acupuncture and Optimal Acupuncture, having studied many years with Dr. Robert Chu, L.Ac., PhD. of the International Tung’s Acupuncture Research Association (ITARA).
